2012 Favorite Wedding Dresses
I have been waiting for quite a while to have the chance to put together my top 10 (11 actually) wedding dresses of last year. You all know how I love, love, love THE DRESS! It all starts with the dress for me and I am so excited the day of every wedding to walk into the bride’s room and see her dress for the first time. So it’s only fitting that I would have a little spot here dedicated to my personal favorites every year. Like I said before, these picks are not necessarily everyone’s favorites or the hottest trends in wedding dresses, they are just styles I normally gravitate towards. And I hope you will love some of them as much as I do!
I will list them in chronological order by wedding date as I cannot possibly rank my favorites. 🙂
First up is Ashley! This stunning master piece was designed by Jorge Perez and purchased at Macy’s Bridal Salon.
Heather got married last March at Kitchen Chicago. A venue I absolutely love! Her gorgeous dress is tea length Melissa Sweet creation from Priscilla of Boston.
Abbey’s dress was a surprise for everyone – guests and family alike – the peach colored gown was Kitty Chen Couture creation named “Charlotte”.
Jenn’s dress was different than any other dress I have photographed before. And it fit her like a glove! Sophia Dang design from Vanessa’s Modern Bride).
Lazaro is always a favorite of mine! This beauty is an Ivory Tulle Lazaro strapless bridal gown, Alencon Lace sweetheart bodice with vintage freshwater pearl applique at natural waist; handmade silk flowers and Alencon Lace appliqués accent skirt and chapel train. Model LZ3962.
Marilyn’s dress fit perfectly with the location of her photos! This beauty is Emerald Blue by Enzoani.
Emily’s fitted and flowy gorgeous gown was a Romona Keveza design.
Lindsay’s dress and hair were pure perfection! This exquisite gown is a Manuel Mota Troya design from Dimitra’s Bridal.
You might remember me gushing about my first BHLDN wedding dress last fall! BHLDN (Crepe De Chine Column Gown).
Last, but not least, Kristen’s elegant tulle and lace La Sposa gown. Which is your favorite?
