What kind of equipment do you use?

Please contact us for a password to access this information in the Client Lounge on our website. Each piece of equipment we own and use is listed on there. And while you may not know what they all do, please keep in mind the extensive list when looking at our work. Apart from talent and knowledge, equipment plays a paramount role in creating professional images.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes. A certificate of insurance can be provided to your venue upon request.

Do you edit all the images or just a portion?

All images are edited individually in Lightroom. Depending on the image and how it inspires us, it will be processed in color or black and white. If you are interested in having some of the images professionally retouched for blemishes and imperfections in Photoshop, you can purchase “touch up” time separately.

How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed?

Cristina photographed her first wedding in 2007 and has photographed over 250 weddings as lead photographer. Konstantin has photographed over 150 weddings as lead or second photographer and Julie has photographed over 200 weddings as lead or second photographer.

What is your style?

Our goal is for our images to tell your story and stay true to your personalities. Whether you are looking at one image or the entire album, we hope to draw you in with the beauty and emotion of the weddings you are admiring. Expect to see an album that will exude love, passion, beauty and the warmth of families coming together in celebration of new beginnings. Unscripted moments artfully blended together offering a fresh take on wedding photography and an appreciation for the true meaning of the day as inspiration for unique images that we hope will adorn your walls as art pieces.

Do you have a studio?

Yes, our studio is located at 1819 W Wilson Avenue, Chicago IL 60640. Hours by appointment only.

Are the digital files released to us on disc for personal printing?

Yes. All final images are edited and artistically enhanced in studio. Once they are ready for viewing we upload them into a password protected online gallery where you can access them for 60 days. Professional prints in all sizes as well as canvas prints and framed prints can be ordered directly from the gallery. Your high resolution images will be delivered on USB with your album.

Can we get the raw, unedited files?

No, these files are not available for viewing or purchase. Part of our style and finished product is the editing itself. You are hiring us for our vision and artistry. Giving you RAW files is like giving you the ingredients to bake our award winning cake without giving you the recipe. We sell cake, not ingredients :)

Do you do engagement sessions?
Yes, we do. Please take note that during wedding season (March-November for us) most engagement sessions have to be photographed Monday-Thursday because of a heavy wedding schedule. There is occasional Friday or sometimes Saturday availability, but those dates book fast!

If our wedding runs over time, can you stay longer?

Absolutely. Before the end of our contracted coverage we check in with you and ask you if you need us to stay longer. We will bill you for the extra time at the rate presented to you at the time of booking.
Can you pencil in our date or at least let us know if you have other brides interested in our date while we make a decision?

Unfortunately we cannot hold dates for clients. We book a year to a year and a half in advance and holding the date for one bride takes it away from another without it actually being booked and it is not fair to our clients. We have a first come, first served policy. The first bride to make a deposit and a sign a contract gets the date. Our advice in general is for clients to schedule all their photographer meetings in one week and make a decision by the end of that week. That way everything you were presented is fresh in mind and you can truly make the best decision for you. If you space the meetings, not only are you risking the one you really loved to get away, but you won’t be able to make an accurate comparison before you draw the line.

What do we have to do to book our date?

Sign the contract (provided to you in the client folder handed out at our first meeting) and pay the deposit fee. We accept credit card or check payments for the deposit. Your balance is due 30 days before the wedding. Balance payments by check only.
