Jessica & James
I have been thinking about this blog post all week and found I cannot not let this amazing wedding speak for itself through the images we captured. James and Jessica were married this past weekend at my favorite wedding venue EVER – A New Leaf. They poured their heart and soul into this breathtaking celebration of their love and not a detail was missed. Love truly is in the DETAILS! Enjoy and feel free to save the images as inspiration for your own wedding!
The day started at The Belden Stratford Hotel, another favorite of mine! Can you tell how excited I was to be the one to capture everything this wonderful couple dreamed of for their wedding?
Dreamy inspiration boards, aren’t they?
We arrived at A New Leaf and spent some time with the bride who was hiding in the coach house. If you’ve never visited A New Leaf, you must! It is incredibly beautiful and full of surprises and inspiration. Apart from the large flower shop, they have a room full of candles on the lower level. All made in house. There is a beautiful courtyard tying it all together and a backyard coach house that is part of the main flower shop. Two story high gorgeous exposed brick coach house full of unexpected findings and little treasures from another era. We took a couple portraits of Jessica in there.
The Apartment at A New Leaf was their ceremony site.
Another fabulous candid shot by my associate Konstantin!
Down the stairs and out the secret exit door for a little alone time in front of the camera.
Ahhh, spring! Long awaited spring!
Couldn’t end our little portrait session without a few shots in the candle room!
The reception venue is right next door to the flower shop with access to both the courtyard and outdoor area as well as the shop.
Let the party begin!
Dinner – catering by The Hearty Boys.
After dinner we snuck outside for a few more pictures.
How amazing is this place?! A photographer’s dream, I tell you! I think I am going to pay them a visit today to pick up some peonies for myself. I HEART peonies!
They stayed behind to chat with friends in the courtyard. Konstantin captured this image of Jessica. Ah, can you say old Hollywood glamour. Looks like a still from an old movie!
