Kristina & Antonio
Confession time: I LOVE pink! Kristina has definitely made me a believer. She rocked her color theme down to the sparkly pink martinis at the cocktail hour! The guests loved them! The truth is that I have always liked pink and thought it made for a great wedding color, but the way Kristina did pink was pure perfection. My favorite: the bridesmaid’s dresses – all different shades of pink from light to dark!!! GORGEOUS! Wait till you see them! One last thing to add before we dive in. This wedding was part II of our museum hopping Labor Day weekend weddings and it was just breathtaking. You cannot beat these views of the city for your wedding day. Hands down, best Chicago wedding venue for brides that want to wow guests with a night they will never forget. Nothing really compares to drinks and dining while watching the sun set over this magical city!
The ceremony took place at one of my favorite churches in the city – St. Hyacinth Basilica.
After the ceremony we went directly to the reception venue since it also happens to be one of the most beautiful and popular spots in downtown Chicago for wedding day pictures.
Yes, I know – THAT FOG!!!!! Made all the skyline shots just MAGICAL! So lucky!!!!!
Kristina & Antonio had a surprise cooked up for their guests. After saying hello and sipping on their fab sparkly pink cocktails at sunset on the patio at The Adler, they were going to disappear for a few moments alone and make their grand debut and introduction at the reception as the new Mr. & Mrs. C. on a beautiful horse drawn carriage. This too shall go down in history as BEST introduction of the bride and groom at a wedding EVER! 🙂 Well done, guys!
Kristina & Antonio decided to have their parent dances first and then go straight from the first dance into the most fun dancing party of all times. Seriously, if it wasn’t for my feet killing me after all the fab museum hopping I had done all weekend, I would have most definitely stayed till the very end!!! My kind of music!!!
Kristin & Antonio, THANK YOU for allowing me to a part of your big day and for the opportunity to photograph such an amazing wedding! I wish you a lifetime full of laughter and dancing together! I miss you already! Must personally deliver the wedding album in California! 🙂
