Quan + Matt

They wrote their own vows. And not a dry eye left in the crowd as they swore eternal love to each other… not even mine… or the DJs… I did not bring tissue, so from time to time you could see me lifting up the camera to wipe away tears with the back of my hand. I couldn’t see a thing I was shooting. Thank God for autopilot. Or otherwise known as experience. ūüėõ It kicks in when eye sight fails you.

The day started with a Vera Wang White dress. A situation of “you had me at hello”. I was smitten. Quan told me this was her dream dress and when she found it, three weeks before the wedding and another dress late, she had no second thoughts about it. It was THE dress she’d wear to marry her love.

Hair and makeup done by one of my favorite artists – Enrique Enriquez. He is soo talented!

Perfect day for an outdoor wedding!

The beautiful flower girl is Matt and Quan’s daughter, Jacqueline. Isn’t she precious???

Cocktail hour is steps away. The bridal party stays behind for a a few pictures.

Garden roses! Ah, my favorite!

The festivities of the evening started with the cutting of the cake.

Followed by the first dance after dinner, but not before the bride changed into her original dress. Also a gorgeous gown.

Father daughter and mother son dances.

Matt & Quan, you were pure joy to work with! Your love, inspiring. The attention to detail and creative energy you poured into every single element of your big day was a photographer’s dream to capture. Thank you for sharing your big day with us!
