Alex and Doug’s late October Chicago Winery wedding was the perfect blend of romance, warmth, and modern elegance in the heart of Chicago. Filled with candlelight, layered florals, emotional moments, and an atmosphere that felt deeply personal, the entire day unfolded with an effortless sense of beauty from beginning to end. From getting ready at The Langham Chicago to dancing beneath suspended floral installations late into the night, every part of the celebration felt immersive, stylish, and incredibly intentional. Alex wore a stunning Vera Wang gown with intricate lace detailing and sheer lace sleeves that created a bridal look that felt timeless, refined, and romantic.
The delicate textures of the dress paired beautifully with her cathedral-length veil, while the bridesmaids’ deep green gowns perfectly complemented the rich autumn palette woven throughout the wedding design.
Inside Chicago Winery, the floral and event design transformed the space into a romantic late-fall dream. The floral palette blended soft blush roses, muted peaches, warm creams, golden yellows, and rich autumnal accents with lush greenery and organic textures, creating arrangements that felt painterly, layered, and full of movement. One of the most striking design elements of the evening was the dramatic suspended floral installation hanging above the ceremony and reception space. Overflowing greenery, hanging blooms, and glowing candlelight filled the room with warmth and atmosphere while complementing the rich wood interiors and dramatic architectural details of the venue. As Alex walked down the aisle with her father beneath the suspended floral canopy, candlelight flickered throughout the room while guests watched through tears and smiles. The atmosphere felt intimate, emotional, and deeply romantic from the very first moment. One of the most unforgettable moments of the evening came immediately following the ceremony when Alex and Doug shared a dramatic dip kiss beneath the florals as guests erupted into applause around them.
