Catherine and Eric’s late August wedding at The Dalcy felt like the kind of summer party guests talk about long after the night ends — elegant, energetic, and completely alive from beginning to end. Designed around a sophisticated all-white palette layered with candlelight, overflowing florals, and warm textures, the entire day carried a refined atmosphere while still feeling effortless and celebratory. Their ceremony transformed the industrial loft space into a glowing, romantic setting filled with towering white floral arrangements, soft draping, and hundreds of candles lining the aisle.
Catherine looked stunning in a sleek strapless gown that perfectly matched the clean aesthetic of the day, while Eric’s classic black tuxedo brought a timeless sophistication that carried seamlessly throughout the celebration. Every detail felt intentional, from the sculptural floral installations suspended above the dance floor to the warm glow filling the room as guests settled in for the evening. The terrace carried the energy of an upscale summer dinner party in the middle of Chicago, filled with conversation, movement, and nonstop excitement as friends and family celebrated together before heading into the reception. Every part of the evening felt immersive and social in the best way possible, with guests flowing effortlessly between cocktails, music, candlelit tables, and the packed dance floor waiting inside. The black-and-white dance floor, dramatic floral ceiling installation, and glowing reception space created a visual atmosphere that felt polished, elevated, and inviting while fully embracing the industrial character of the loft venue itself.
As dinner transitioned into dancing, the energy inside The Dalcy completely exploded. A live DJ paired with a saxophone player kept the dance floor packed all night, creating one of the most electric receptions of the summer.
